Singapore, 10 October 2012 – For the most demanding hot climate application, PT Beton Elemenindo Putra introduces b-panel Neo^®,an upgraded version of their acclaimed b-panel^® quake-resistant and energy-efficient building system. By featuring b-foam Neo^® 50, an EPS insulation layer that is made of fire-retardant expanded polystyrene (EPS) incorporated with Neopor^®, a graphite-infused EPS material proprietary to BASF SE of Germany, PT Beton has created a truly high-performance, thermally-insulated panel, with R-value equivalent to regular b-panel^® with EPS layer more than twice the density.

b-panel Neo^® allow maximum heat transfer reduction for regions with the highest ambient temperature, as well as certain part of dwelling exposed to the most intense solar load, such as roof decks and West-facing walls. b-panel Neo^® has the same superior structural rigidity and acoustic insulation property of regular b-panel^®, but with a significantly increased thermal insulation property. ”b-panel Neo^® allows higher degree for flexibility by energy-efficient dwelling designers, to achieve very high efficiency, without compromising thicker walls associated with high insulation value when using regular material.”, states Don Kamarga, Managing Director of PT Beton Elemenindo Putra.
